High Notes of Spring
On March 30th 2006, Mark Atkinson was invited to attend a special Horn
Ensemble and Solo Concert at California State University Long Beach.
Presented under the direction of faculty teacher James Atkinson with his
guest Artist Joseph Ognibene (Principal Horn of the Iceland) Symphony
Orchestra. Many of Mr. Atkinson?s students played works by Dukas, Bozza
Poulanc and Francaix. James played the Leopold Mozart Concerto in Eb for
two Horns with his NEW Atkinson Geyer-AG2000. The CSULB Horn students also
gave a fine performance of the suite for eight Horns by composer Ronald Lo
Presti which was written for the Los Angeles Horn Club.
Now until the end of the year Atkinson Horns will make a $50.00 donation to
the institution or charity of your choice on all Horn models purchased
direct from us. The donation will be under the buyer´s name. All we need
from you is the correct info. for verification. Let us do the rest!! All
unclaimed donations will go to the Vincent DeRosa Scholarship at USC.
