Geyers go berserk!! Well our Atkinson-Geyer 2000 is gaining momentum!! Maybe its because of the One piece long F branch or the or the fact that its made with original Geyer valves and perhaps the ultra light one piece bell? Well whatever it is you can't knock success. Beginning in 2008 we are offering traditional mechanical action with string for smoother valve action as well as the standard string action. For players who want a Geyer style horn with an unbelievable high register try our smaller cantata bell as it still plays and feels like a great Geyer horn but with less effort for the high notes. We extend our invitation to all players to visit our factory and try “the ATKINSON”.

Pictured is S.F. Bay area freelance hornists Lindsay Brown with his new AG-2000, Alex Camphouse and our Bridgeport milling machine. Both Lindsay and Alex play extra horn with the S.F. Symphony and Opera orchestras.

Atkinson´s Observations: When not abused and properly maintained your horn can last 100 years or more!! We have Gumbert Kruspes in our family made in 1905!! Are you maintaining your Horn? Call us for a free consultation on repair and give a different kind of inheritance to future generations of horn players.
