Have to talk about 6-D conversions. In the early 70´s my father would take straight 28-D XL bells and bend them to fit the 6-D which has an large circle. Some of the times he would replace the leadpipe to enhance the overtones, as well as other changes that he thought were critical. After a recent completion of this conversions last month for Hornist John Love of San Diego, Ca. we are very pleased to reintroduce this conversion made famous by my father and before him Max Pottag. Smooth out the rough edges of your 6-D and give it a Schmidt feel with a Kruspe sound. Call for the details and 6-D conversions with ATKINSON 28-D bell tail and flare.

For those Hornist looking for a new Horn check out our full line of Geyer and Erfurt Kruspe Horns all in stock!!
