Here is a brief explanation.
Traditional Bell: Produces a clear singing quality of sound which is somewhat brighter with great staccatos and smooth legatos. Superb for orchestra and a marvelous solo Horn.
European Bell: A slightly darker sound quality with more lows in the overtones creating a stronger bottom to the sound and the steps between notes are wider consequently this instrument is preferred by those who are coming off of big belled Horns.
Cantata bell: For players who prefer the darker sound with great high register and an easily hand stopped bell with a penetrating center. ALL of our fabulous Geyer Horns have incredible registers and a rich beautiful sound that will not only please you the player but give that WOW factor needed in today´s competitive symphonic auditions.
